Ⅰ.Customer needs
This international customer mainly produces die-cast rotors with various product specifications. It once purchased a batch of AIP conventional horizontal cast aluminum rotor testers and achieved remarkable results in actual production.
Now the customer's business has expanded to large three-phase industrial motor cast aluminum rotors. AIP has conducted in-depth research on the customer's new products and manufacturing processes and provided corresponding testing solutions. Based on the good foundation of the first cooperation and the trust in AIP's technology, the customer chose AIP again.
Ⅱ. Solution
1. Innovation of tooling machinery structure
This customized large-cast aluminum rotor tester has achieved many innovative breakthroughs in mechanical design. Aiming at the heavyweight large rotor, AIP has designed a stable and efficient tooling mechanical structure to achieve accurate positioning and firm locking of heavy rotors. At the same time, the tester comprehensively optimizes the operation mechanism and integrates advanced dynamic balancing technology and intelligent control algorithms to ensure that the rotor rotates quickly and smoothly on the test bench. This design not only solves the technical difficulties of heavy rotor testing but also provides a reference for the research and development of similar testers in China.
2. Test technology innovation

The tester comprehensively covers the key performance index detection of large cast aluminum and cast copper rotors, including broken bars, guide bar groove fullness (thin bars, air hole, bubbles, air gaps), leakage between the cage and the iron core, eccentricity of the cage, offset of the rotor bar skew slot, etc., providing customers with a full range of high-precision testing solutions.

In addition, the design of the tester also fully considers the dual needs of production efficiency and cost control. By optimizing the test process and automatic clamping technology, the entire guide bar test time is shortened to 3-5 seconds. At the same time, the test data waveform display makes the test results more intuitive and clear. The tester also has powerful network interconnection capabilities and can be connected to the MES system to achieve real-time data interaction and full traceability.

At present, through continuous improvement of technology and products, AIP has launched a full-function cast aluminum rotor tester based on the original conventional cast aluminum rotor tester. It has added a special test module for squirrel cage rotors and provided customers with more comprehensive and in-depth rotor quality testing solutions through resistance and reactance testing.
