To measure the quality of the motor stator, it is necessary to confirm whether the various parameters of the motor stator are normal. The common motor stator problem is the open circuit and short circuit of the coil winding during the use of the stator. In addition, there are some problems that exist in the motor itself when it leaves the factory. Generally, there are two methods to measure the motor stator, one is the professional motor stator measuring equipment used in factories and laboratories, and the other is the multimeter for household use.
Ⅰ.Professional motor stator Tester
Professional motor stator measurement equipment is not suitable for home use. It is mainly used in factories or laboratories because of its advantages of high efficiency, accuracy, and batch testing. Different types of motor stators need to measure different parameters, and professional manufacturers can customize them according to different stator needs. The stator measuring equipment measures the required parameters at the same time. After the measurement is completed, the qualified or unqualified sound and light alarms are directly displayed on the display screen, which is more accurate and efficient.
According to the stator application motor type, stator measurement equipment can be roughly divided into the following types:
1. AC motor stator tester
Can measure AC Hi-pot, insulation resistance, surge, DC resistance, inductance, de-embedding, rotation, etc.; ultra-high performance, compatible with the above items, easy to maintain, support intelligent self-inspection, remote fault diagnosis, and online software upgrade, plug-in The plate design is convenient for disassembly and replacement, and the measurement efficiency is more efficient and accurate than traditional manual measurement.
2. Three-phase motor stator tester
It can measure AC Hi-pot, insulation resistance, surge, DC resistance, rotation, etc. If the motor used in the stator is a high-power motor above 7.5KW, a surge measurement system can be selected for the surge voltage measurement. This system uses military-grade electronic components to upgrade the super-large surge energy and effectively improve the measurement effect.
3. Servo motor stator tester
It can measure AC Hi-pot, insulation resistance, surge, DC resistance, phase-to-phase withstand voltage, inductance, etc. The measurement system supports power-on self-test and remote maintenance functions to ensure the normal operation of the equipment every day and maximize the production efficiency of the stator.
4. Stepper motor stator tester
It can measure AC Hi-pot, insulation resistance, surge, DC resistance, phase-to-phase withstand voltage, inductance, phase sequence, etc. The measurement of all preset items can be completed in one clamping, saving labor costs.
5. Brushless motor stator and brush motor stator tester
It can measure AC Hi-pot, insulation resistance, surge, DC resistance, inductance, rotation, back EMF, phase sequence, Hall characteristics, etc. A simple and efficient clamping scheme is adopted, which is easy to operate and realizes assembly line production; mass storage of sample information, more than 1000 test files can be preset; wide equipment adaptability, surge measurement can support coil testing above 10uH, and voltage closed-loop feedback, the test is more accurate.
Ⅱ.Multimeter to measure motor stator
1. A multimeter is a multi-purpose general-purpose measuring instrument, which can be used not only to measure voltage and current but also to measure resistance, on-off, diodes, etc. For the general public, the multimeter is a relatively simple stator-measuring instrument.
A multimeter measures whether the stator is open-circuited. Use the multimeter resistance gear to measure the resistance value at both ends of the stator winding. If it is connected, it means that the stator is normal; if it is not connected, it means that the stator winding is open circuit;
2. Use a multimeter to measure whether the stator windings are grounded. Use the multimeter resistance gear to measure the resistance value between the stator winding wire end and the iron core. Normally, it should not be connected. If the conduction or resistance value is less than 50MΩ, it indicates that the stator winding is grounded or poorly insulated.
